Dr Dre Laptop Review

The Dr Dre Laptop is hot. In this Dr Dre Laptop review, I'll go over both the positives and negatives of what is officially called the HP Envy. Overall, this is a very solid computer and I give it a B/B+.

The physical look of the dr dre notebook is very sleek. The base theme is a stealth black and comes with the "beats" read logo. The keypad looks very much similar to the Apple Macbook and is backlit. The screen is also crisp and clear, which is a must for me. The Dr Dre Laptop is noticeably on the heavier side (over 5 lbs) so keep that in mind if you travel constantly with your notebook.

Of course, the audio is what has most people buzzing. The "beats" system is supposed to be what gives Dre's laptop it's bounce. There's no doubt the sound quality is enhanced over that of your regular, run of the mill laptop but it's probably not going to be as live as a fan of Dre's would hope. That said, if you want better sound quality, there's no doubt you'll hear a clean beat and a bump to boost.

Speaking of audio, not only is the quality of the waves better, but you'll also get a lot better control of exactly what you're hearing with the preloaded Beats software. This allows you to tweak the aspects of what you're playing and get data feedback of the output.

System wise, if you love gaming, video, or musc recording, the HP Envy has a fast running hard drive, a good video graphics card, and a great processor.

Other key stats on the HP Envy: battery life is up to 7 hours (realistically hope for 5 when you read this in any laptop specs), comes with web cam.
