Many of us, especially women, have a big event coming up - such as a wedding or gala - where we want to lose weight really fast but have only a month to do it. In this article, I want to offer some tips on how to loose weight as fast as possible with only a month before the event.
First, you need to get in the gym and do cardio right away. I'm talking treadmill, rotex machine, stair stepper, and maybe cycle for a rest. As I talk about in my weight loss success story, the best way to do this is to go 15 minutes for medium intensity on the rotex machine as a warm up. Take a four minute break and then go on the treadmill for 15 minutes of very challenging, high intensity exercise.
The key to this is you're in fat burning mode as soon as you get off the rotex. This means you're getting the most bang for your buck on the treadmill and you're going to reach fat cells during your workout. After you get done with the treadmill, make sure you drink water and hydrate yourself. Get a cool down walk for about 3 minutes and then rest for another three minutes and head to the stair stepper.
On the stair stepper, you want to get another 12 minutes of medium challenge steps. At the end of this exercise, your heart rate will be fast and you will have burned some extra calories as well as toned up some. Once you finish the three cardio exercises, head to the weights for about 25 minutes of muscle building with a stretch afterwards. This will complete a sample workout.
By eliminating excess rest and pushing yourself throughout the workout, you'll be working with one of the most natural ways to lose weight. The next step is to eat once you get home. Give yourself some broiled chicken, vegetables, and fruit. Throw in some skim milk for good measure. You definitely don't want to short change the nutrition in your meals either before or after you workout because this is what gives you the strength to blast through your workout and lose weight quickly.
If you keep up this fast and furious pace for the next 4 weeks and only take off 1 day of week, you will lose several pounds depending on how much you weigh. Always remember to do everything the healthy way.
